Cambridge SkillsTap is very pleased to have a former employee of Enron’s M&A team (London) to provide a well qualified insider’s view. Mark says “I think the general public are probably too quick to write off Enron as a ‘dodgy’ company without really understanding why the company collapsed, or realising that almost all of the creative techniques employed by Enron are still regularly used by all sorts of organisations today (including our clients or employers). Few understand what really led to the company’s problems. I think there are some valuable lessons for all of us working as business advisors and this will be the focus of my talk. I am keen to share my views and discuss the lessons to be learned.”
Mark will deliver a compelling talk covering:
• Finance Techniques employed
• The Collapse
• Critical factors of collapse
• The Enron Culture
Alan Syrop, Chairman of Cambridge SkillsTap said "You should not miss this opportunity; we are giving access to someone who was so close to the downfall of Enron which had historic consequences. This will be relevant to managers of all disciplines, not just finance; I for one am very much looking forward to hearing the view from the inside."
