Member run network
An integral aspect of Cambridge SkillsTap is its member run Network. It is run by a very active team of volunteers as follows.
The team
The Network team was assembled from a group of volunteer members. Since its inception it has met on a regular basis (on average once per week) to develop through discussion what it is that Cambridge SkillsTap should offer its membership from the Network.
The purpose statements
The group proposes four main elements with the first being accepted as the prime purpose and the others being given different priorities by the members of the group and being in no particular order.
The four elements are:
- To improve the chances of active members gaining employment opportunities
- To allow and encourage people to continually increase their knowledge and skills
- To provide support (social, business, expert advice etc.)
- To share events and news of common interest
